It is a daily chore to keep reminding our elected officials they need to honor their oath to the Constitution and represent the needs and views of their constituents. Thank you for your perseverance! 5 calls is so easy to use; a great resource for busy activists.
Thank you for putting so much together. I suggest, however, the tests for fascism by this regime came when Trump came down the golden escalator, falsely called Mexicans rapists, etc
That moment was a milestone. We have been sliding into an authoritarianism style of leadership over the decades; Reagan's attack on government, Gingrich's polarization strategy, SCOTUS' radicalization, denying Obama a Supreme Court nomination, rushing through Amy Coney Barrett's (aka handmaid) nomination, Biden focusing on bipartisan legislation and not shoring up democratic guardrails (voter rights, expanding SCOTUS)...the list is long and more than I know. FDR angered the oligarchs and they have been fighting social safety nets ever since, white Christian nationalism has hijacked mainstream Christianity, the Catholic Church's single issue voting...its complex & interdependent and has been 'emerging' for decades if not longer. There are more of us who see this than those who don't, so we keep resisting.
Thank you for insights, and yes, when I listened to the audio of HCR's post that described the War Talks pamphlets, I was flabbergasted. The actual edition is available on the link that I provided, it is easy to download and share as a PDF to your network. Hegseth is taking over the army's newspaper Stars and Stripes to take out the 'woke' (conscious) aspects of it and fill it with white Christian nationalism propaganda. Each of us who are aware of what is happening need to connect with our network and spread the word. People will trust a trusted source. Have a small neighborhood pizza night and share the historical account with friends and neighbors, church groups, book clubs. We must grow this movement if we are going to get out of this nightmare.
