Yes to this economic blackout, and I suggest that we do it every month, either on the 28th, or the 4th Friday, monthly, if not weekly, until the message gets through.
Let's also hold Indiana's Governor Braun accountable. His nonprofit HOPE is run by a former American for Prosperity player, a Charles Koch-funded entity. Since HOPE has refused to tell the media and the public who funds the organization (red flag), we can't verify, but if you look at the players on their website, it all makes perfect sense. The Kochs have always used opaque means to hide their manipulation of politicians.
Keep up the economic pressure because that is the only way to get the attention of our greedy oligarchy.
If we allow everything to continue as it has been for the past month, we won't have anything we recognize (or that our ancestors have fought for, both on and off the battlefield). Just because we are in a red state, don't think we are protected - these cuts are happening everywhere. Keep up the calls to Young and Banks and your House Rep - even if you don't think they are listening, they need to keep hearing from us.
I am all for exposing corruption, and it is clearly on both "sides", but I don't understand how this is going to help. Are you stocking up on Thursday to not buy on Friday? Unless you spend less (1/7th?) doesn't it all come out in the wash?
Agree - need to ramp this up after first one and couple to the national extended effort starting 15 Mar 2025. On a separate but related note we need to be out if force for 4 Mar protest at state-house - that should be getting local state and national attention #fiftyfifty.one
